Austria. Gigantic Collection of 1920s Notgeld. This fascinating group consists of aproximately 2400 pieces of Austrian Notgeld mostly dated 1920 and seemingly all different, from regions, cities and towns all over the country. Each note or set is seperately cataloged by issuer and mounted in currency holders, and range from Abekberg to Wilhering and everywhere in between. A true bonanza for the notgeld specialist or a newer collector wanting to get started, and also a ready made dealer stock. The collection was assembled in the 1970s and there are bound to be many better issues included which may prove our estimate conservative, thus inspection is highly recommended. Grades range from Extremely Fine to Uncirculated with the vast majority in New condition.
