Aviation Model, "Little Boy" Bomb Model (10x2.5") A striking blue scale model (Philippine) of the "Little Boy" atomic bomb, dropped on Hiroshima by the Enola Gay during WW II. The model is mounted on a black wooden base (17x6"). The model has been signed in silver ink by Dutch van Kirk, Navigator of the Enola Gay. A similar model realized over $600 the last time it appeared at auction. A great addition to any collection.

Paul Tibbetts has signed his name on the top of the right wing. This is the plane Tibbetts flew during WW II when he dropped the Atomic Bomb on Hiroshima. A printed certificate of authenticity is included as is a color photo of him actually signing the model.

Aviation Model, "B-25B, Doolittle Raider" Model Aircraft (17x14") This 1/48 scale Philippine model is mounted on a rectangular wooden base with a metal descriptive plate that reads, in part: "North American B-25B Mitchell co-piloted by Lt. Col. Richard Cole, USAF (Ret.). Lt. Cole has signed his name on the top of the right wing. Doolittle's Raid was the first American retaliatory strike against the Japanese mainland. An attractive model signed by one of the men who was actually there, and survived to tell the tale. A printed certificate of authenticity signed by Lt. Col. Cole is included as is a color photo of him actually signing the model.
