Space Model, "Vostok-1 Capsule" Model (4x2") A striking polished aluminum contractor's model of Gagarin's Vostok spacecraft. This model was made at the Samara rocket factory where the original capsule was produced. Minor antennae faults should not detract from this striking model. We have sold larger versions of this model over the years for thousands of dollars each. This is a great chance to get this model for a more reasonable figure.

Models, Russian "Vostok" Model (10.5x1.5") This polished aluminum contractor's model is mounted on a round black enamel/metal base (3.5"). This rocket is the rocket that launched Yuri Gagarin on his momentious journey into space. It was made at the Samara rocket factory where the actual rocket was fabricated. Excellent overall condition (one small "fin" on one of the rockets is missing) and a great addition to any collection.

Space Model, "Soyuz" Rocket Model (25x3.5") A striking polished aluminum contractor's model that has been painted in gray, white and orange with various Russian logos on the payload. Some damage to the metal lattice in the center of the model and to the fins around the bottom, from having been shipped from Russia. Manufactured in the same Samara factory from which the original Soyuz rockets made, this is the largest model we have seen produced by them.

Space Model, Russian "Centrifuge" Presentation Model (6x3") A striking multi-articulated desk model of the Star City centrifuge, mounted on a black lucite base (8x4") with a polished metal descriptive plaque that reads: "To Col. Petrov, E.I. on his 50th Birthday from the Commander of Military Regiment #12741". This presentation model was probably made in the 1960-70s and is different from others we have seen. Striking and unusual.

Space Model, "BURAN" Presentation Model (7x5") A striking black/white wooden (?) model on a round blue/silver base (3") The two pieces are connected by an orange "Hammer & Cycle" connector. There are a couple of enamel cracks on the Buran, but this is the first time we can remember seeing a contemporary Buran model out of Russia. This Program was a knockoff of the American Shuttle Program and, when it was discontinued prior to an actual flight, the Russians were embarrassed by it and kind of downplayed it to the world. A great addition to any collection.

Soyuz 19, Presentation Table Model (11x6.5x.5") A striking and unusual multicolor molded plastic model depicting the Soviet half of the Apollo Soyuz Test Project (ASTP) flying above the earth. This piece has a thick metal stand that pivots across the reverse of it enabling the plastic table model to stand. on a desk or table. This is a fascinating conversation piece for any collection.
