Apollo Soyuz, 1975, Deke Slayton's Dark Blue Flight Suit. This multi-zipper, Gen. Elec. Co. flight suit has a "Deke Slayton" name tag and a triangular blue/gold "Space Shuttle patch on the left chest and an ASTP patch on the right shoulder. A NASA meatball and another patch appear to have been removed from the right chest at some time in the past. Well worn, but a great piece of space memorabilia.

Apollo Soyuz, Deke Slayton's Light Blue Flight Suit. This multi-zippered, vintage "Flite Wear" light blue flight suit has a Slayton name tag on the chest and no patches. It appears to be in excellent condition and will make a nice addition in any collection.

STS-1, 1981, White House Presentation Photo Album. An unusual 6x4.5" leather presentation album with the Presidential Seal on the cover and six color photos of the STS-1 flight enclosed. A printed cover note reads: "Presidential Luncheon honoring Space Shuttle Columbia Astronauts John Young and Robert Crippen / The White House, Washington, DC, May 19, 1981". An undated printed note from President Ronald Reagan on White House card stock reads: "Through you, today, we all feel as giants once again. Once again we feel the surge of pride that comes from knowing we are the first and we are the best and we are so becvause we are free, Ronald Reagan". Some small fauts, but a scarce STS-1 piece of memorabilia.

Shuttle Program, "Rockwell International" Presentation Piece (16x20") A great piece covered with autographs surrounding a printed dedication: "To Bobbie Slayton (Deke's wife) Best Wishes from your many NASA and Rockwell International Friends". The autographs also surround a color photo (14x11") of the Shuttle after a rough landing. Attractive and quite unusual.

Five NASA Wood Casting Patterns. Used for rocket engine parts in 1976. These wooden molds were laid in a sand pit to create indentations into which molten metal was poured to create the parts. Two pieces include written notes on the wood indicating when they were used and for what.

Space Shuttle, " Eng. Test Tile" (6x6x2.5") A black tile with NASA ID numbers in yellow on the top above a triangular blue "Go for Launch" label. Normal dings and faults, but attractive. ALSO an unusual orange-colored tile (6x6x1.5") with a metal plate on one side (no ID numbers) and showing some wear. An attractive pair. Please remember, due to Federal law, Shuttle tiles cannot be sold outside the continental US.
