Apollo Soyuz, 1975, Russian "Apollo Soyuz" Medal. This blue and gold enamel medal is mounted on a blue and yellow ribbon. It is in its original blue leather/plus presentation case and includes a matching lapel pin (without the ribbon). Apollo Soyuz, 1975, Russian Apollo Soyuz Medal. This small brass medal on a blue ribbon depicts the Apollo Soyuz spacecraft in docked position on one side and an inscription on the reverse. This is a much more common award than the other Apollo Soyuz medal presented here, but, as it is part of the Slayton Estate, it should not be overlooked.
Estimated Value $100 - 150.

Undated Gold Plated "International Space Station" Medallion (40mm.) This medal reads "S. P. Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia" in English on one side and probably the same on the other. Both sides show the Space Station, but in different formats. As the medallion comes in a clear plastic holder in a plush blue box and was in Deke Slayton's possession, it is a fair assumption to assume that it is a fairly rare presentation piece. Definitely a nice addition to any collection.
Estimated Value $100 - 150.
