1871 Two Cents. NGC graded Proof 66 Red & Brown Cameo. Lovely red colors and well struck. This is one of the later dates in a short-lived series that ran from 1864 to 1871. Only 960+ Proofs struck (mint records are somewhat contradictory prior to the 1880s). Pop 2; none finer at NGC (PCGS # 3646) .
