Lot 2371
1863, $100 State of Georgia Trio. These three examples are all listed as Cr. 6B, with the mising control stamp on the back, but the red overprint is too high--although it is noted by this cataloger that it does not appear to be so high as to be a certain invert. All three notes grade AU to Choice CU.
Estimated Value $150 - 200.

Lot 2375
1864, $20 Confederate States. Original Pack of 100. . Fr-T-67. This intriguing group is one of only a handful or original packs that this cataloger has seen in the past two decades, and is one of three here offered. It consists of 100 consecutively serial numbers 20s, all from the A plate position, with the group banded together with a string and a paper band that is held together with a pin on the back of the pack. Penciled on the paper band is "2000", indicating the face value of the pack. A few of the notes have some minor staining and the last several notes will have a pinhole from the still-attached pin, but the balance of the notes range from poorly centered Uncirculated to approaching Gem quality. A lovely group with historical importance, certain to excite Confederate sympathizers and specialists alike. Lot of 100 notes.
Estimated Value $5,000 - 7,000.
