Ireland. Pattern Three Shillings, 1900. KM-X3. Struck in silver. By Reginald Huth. Milled edge. Dated in Roman numerals October 1900. The obverse has Huth's version of Victoria's 'old head' portrait, the reverse features a large crown and sceptres with initials V R. in the style of the gunmoney coinage of James II. This rare piece was produced to commemorate the visit of the Queen to Ireland. NGC graded Proof 61.

Reginald Huth, the creator of this specimen, is well known for his beautiful (and very valuable) pattern Hawaiian coins.
