A big university town, this lovely dated back specimen has bright pinkish rose stamped signatures and has decent but not perfect margins, with the lower margin coming close to the design at one end -- no doubt this note was sliced from the original sheet using a pair of scissors (a cutting board would have produced a smooth edge). PCGS graded Extremely Fine 40.

Xenia NB is scarce and popular for the collector of "alphabet" notes, since "X" in the name is uncommon. This note has excellent eye appeal for the grade. PCGS graded Very Fine 25.

Zanesville was founded by land speculator Ebenezer Zane in 1800. The community is located at the mouth of the Licking River, where Zane had built a ferry service for people traveling along the frontier road known as Zane's Trace.
