1882, $20 National Bank Note. Fr-555. One "N" and then two "N"s in the name of this famous American industrial city. The Citizens NB is one of the more prolific bank note issuers at the time, with this having all the hallmarks of its grade including decent signatures, nice centering, as well as nice color. If one didn't know the derivation of the two vignettes on the front, it almost looks as if the Minuteman is firing his rifle at the advancing figure of Columbia on the right! PCGS graded Very Fine 30PPQ.

1882, $20 National Bank Note. Fr-497. This time the brown charter number is off to the left of center above Series 1882. On some other Types, the charter number is situated left of center. It makes collecting these all the more exciting. With amere 6 large size known on the #3950 bank, all brown backs, a very scarce offering. In fact, this is an ever scarcer early type with the seal above the bank name rather than below (its later, much more common placement on brown back nationals of the 1882 series). PCGS graded Very Good 10.
