Vice Presidents & Others. Fifteen items signed by six Vice Presidents: Charles Curtis (VP under Hoover), 4 Typed Letters Signed on VP letterhead; Alben W. Barkley (VP under Truman), 1 TLS on VP letterhead; Hubert H. Humphrey (VP under L.B. Johnson), 4 TlsS, 3 on VP letterhead; Spiro T. Agnew (VP under Nixon), 4 TlsS on VP letterhead; Nelson A. Rockefeller (VP under Ford), 1 TLS on VP letterhead; Dan Quayle (VP under George Bush), on VP card. Together with: aa Check Signed by James G. Fair in 1874; a group of 10 letters to publisher Chester Kerr; and an ALS from British artish Margaret Lindsay Williams to Major O.M. Baldinger, a White House aide and personal friend of President and Mrs. Harding, expressing sympathy on Harding's death and discussing the portrait she had painted of the President (it is in the National Portrait Gallery), plus a collection of some 30 envelopes with stamps, addressed to Maj. Baldinger.
