Four British Commonwealth Bonds (1) Canadian bond for 1 share of $100 in gold for the Barcelona Traction, Light and Power Company Limited, in English and French, 1912, 14½ x 10¼ in., framed to 15½ x 11½ in. Red, with three vignettes and decorative border. Exceptionally attractive. (2) £400 share in the Capital or Joint Stock of Three Pounds Ten Shillings per Cent. Reduced Annuities, Nov. 10, 1837, 6½ x 8 in., framed to 9½ x 11¼ in. (3) £100 Tasmanian Government Debenture, issued to James Robertson, Hobart Town, Tasmania, May 1, 1880, 14¾ x 9¼ in., framed to 15½ x 10¼ in. With British coat of arms at top. (4) One guinea subscription to The Art Union of Glasgow, 1859, 3¾ x 6½ in., framed to 4¾ x 7½ in. Blue and white, in blue frame.

Rich ochre tint; lovely border decorated with Parisian landmarks. (2) 100 Franc bond for Société Anonyme d'Applications Industrielles du Bois, Paris, April 15, 1918, 11½ x 11¾ in., framed to 12½ x 13; blue-green and tan. (3) 2,500 Franc bond for Savana Société Industrielle, Commerciale et Financière, Bordeaux, Dec. 17, 1951, 7½ x 10¼ in., framed to 10½ x 13 in. Rich chocolate and cream; vignettes of Asian animals and people. (4) 20 Franc certificate good for 20 entry tickets to the Universal Exposition of 1900, Paris, 5¾ x 8 in., framed to 6½ x 9 in. Green and cream with border of vignettes.

Four Late 19th Century American Financial Documents. Two Territory of Montana Territorial Warrants, Helena, M.T., County of Lewis & Clarke, May 10, 1886 and April 29, 1887, 4¼ x 9 in. The first is made our to "Treas. Yellowstone Co." for $274.50 "for support of convicts for March & April, 1886"; the second is to William Dowty for $31 "for killing 636 squirrels." Both are signed by the Territorial Auditor; both have attractive vignettes at left edge. An Excelsior Drift Gold Mining Company stock certificate, Sacramento, California, 1894, certifies that Isaac Ferguson is entitled to 25 shares. A check from the Exchange & Collection Office of H. Runge & Co., Cuero, Texas, Oct. 31, 1874, is made out to Carl Schybilla for $76.50 "in Silver"; endorsed on verso.

Pale greenish-blue with a lovely decorative border. (2) 500 Franc railroad bond for the Sociedad de los Ferrocarriles de Madrid a Cáceres y a Portugal, in Spanish and French, Madrid, April 27, 1895, 10½ x 11 in., framed to 13¼ x 13¾ in. Pale greenish-blue, with decorative border. (3) 500 Peso bond for the state of Durango, Mexico, in Spanish and English, Durango, Jan. 1, 1907, 15¼ x 10¾ in., framed to 15¼ x 13¾ in. Greenish-blue and cream; decorative vignettes at top and bottom. (4) 5 Peso Dominican Republic bond, "Crédito Publico Deuda Consolidada," Santo Domingo, Feb. 4. 1876, 5 x 8¾ in., framed to 6½ x 10. Red and cream.

Original 1947 Tucker Stock Certificate. Certificate for 100 shares of Class "A" common stock in the Tucker Corporation, issued to Russell T. Rist, Edward M. Rist and Mrs. Tillie H Rist, September 23, 1947, with printed signature of Preston Tucker. Only 51 Tucker cars were manufactured. They featured revolutionary concepts such as safety glass, seat belts, disc brakes, and a third headlight "cyclops" that preceeded the car around corners. Handsomely matted with an image of the 1948 Tucker automobile and a short history of Tucker Corporation and framed to an overall size of 17 x 27 in. Tucker is fondly remembered in the financial world as a dreamer and a risk-taker, a man ahead of his time.

Five have revenue stamps; five have attractive vignettes and one has a map showing the location of the mine. One stock has a couple of tiny lower edge tears. Overall, fine and attractive.
