Laureate bust of Hadrian right, wearing scaled cuirass, drapery at right shoulder. Reverse: Laureate bust of Hadrian right, drapery at right shoulder; both sides with IMP CAESAR TRAIANVS HADRIANVS AVG. Cf. BMCRE 1837. Some expert old smoothing to the fields, mostly on the cuirassed side. The busts beautifully proportioned, and in the best style! Black-green patina, with muted spots of red and lighter green.
