1835 Capped Bust Half Dime. Small date, small 5¢. PCGS graded MS-65. Deep, intense sea-green and lilac toning on the center of the obverse, ringed at the edges with a golden iridescence. The reverse features a two-tiered toning: deep lilac in the fields and blue on the high points. Visually appealing and an extraordinary condition for the Small Date, Small 5 variety. PCGS reports only five examples in this grade, with only four finer (PCGS # 4285) .
