Lot 2030
The Finest Known 1903 McKinley Gold Dollar, NGC graded MS 68. NGC graded MS-68. This is the Finest graded 1903 McKinley Gold Dollar by both NGC and PCGS. Neither has seen its equal, and neither has graded one higher. One need not wonder why this is so; put this jewel through its paces, line it up under an intense white light and put your examining magnifier to it. A few teeny-tiny tick marks are the most you will see, but McKinley's face, the fields, the lettering, all are pristine and undiminished by contact. The dies show typical wear above the letters, this is normal and most McKinley Gold Dollars display this characteristic. There is even a short die crack from the rim to the second I of LOUISIANA. A stunning, original coin that is deserving of being acclaimed the Finest Known.

Lot 2033
1926 Sesquicentennial Quarter Eagle. NGC graded MS-64. A real "PQ" coin with lovely old-gold color and virtually no marks of any kind. Philadelphia's Independence Hall doesn't look this bright today! Liberty's highest points show some extremely faint difference in color, but this is not rub or abuse. If dipped, this coin would probably be a blazer. So, if you want a gem at a sensible price, here's the coin to bid on!
