  Flown Apollo 12 Sterling Silver Medallion. 30 mm. "No. 56" engraved on the reverse with the launch, moon landing and splashdown dates. This a normal flown medallion that has been converted into a pin with a silver pin-back added and with a diamond inset into the moon landing site. These medalions were modified in this manner by Alan Bean and his wife. Only about 6-10 medallions were made into pins for presentation to Bean's close family as mementos of the flight. A most impressive treasure.

  GEMINI SPACE PROGRAM. A similar lot realized almost $15,000 in Superior's June 1994 auction sale. The complete set of flown medallions from GT-3 thru GT-12 mounted in a lucite block (7 x 3 x 1") on a wooden base (8½ x3 x 1"). An almost impossible set to duplicate as few other than the early astronauts have such sets. There are only 24 sets in existance.

  Lady's Pear 3.01 Diamond Ring. Hallmarked 18 karat yellow gold ring, weighing 9.60 grams, containing forty-three diamonds as follows: One pear brilliant cut diamond, weighing 3.01 carats and measuring 12.00 x 7.84 x 5.20 mm (depth estimated). Grades I1 in clarity and K in color. Diamond is laser drilled. Twenty-six round brilliant cut diamonds, weighing approximately 0.035 carat each (accurate total weight 0.91 carat). Grade VS2-SI2 in clarity and H-J in color. Sixteen straight and tapered baguette cut diamonds, weighing aproximaetly 0.045-0.05 carat each (accurate total weight 0.77 carat). Grade VS1-SI1 in clarity and H-J in color.

Early 17th Century Handwritten Scrolls on gazelle skin, tightly rolled into cylinders with leather bindings forming magical scrolls; together with tiny handmade leather Medicine-Man pouches that probably contain herb potions. All strung together forming a large necklace (modern strung). Length 44" consisting of 39 separate pieces. Most unusual and very rare.
