Lot 448
1948 Franklin Half Dollar. The only exception the grade rule is the key date 1949-S which is PCGS graded MS-66 Full Bell Lines! Of course the 1953-S is notorious for its weak strike, and extremely expensive if one can be located. This set is stunning, and the quality must be seen to be believed. Many key date rarities are included in the coveted gem grade with full bell lines. Most are in old green insert PCGS holders, and this set was obviously a labor of love. An outstanding set! Lot of 34 coins.
