Lot 1091
1905-O Barber Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-65. One of the finest graded by PCGS, they report 6 grade as such, with just 5 graded higher (best MS-68). This one has excellent luster and a good strike, with satiny gold toning starting to tone down the original white surfaces. One minor tick on Liberty's nose from a higher grade, but her cheek and the fields are very clean. A gem by any definition.
Estimated Value $3,500 - 4,000.
