1917-D Buffalo Nickel. MS-64. Bright and fresh, with outstanding surfaces and a hint of toning just starting to form. Well struck for this often weak date, the horn is full and part of the tail tip is can be seen. Minor weakness on the peripheral devices, as usual.

1919-S Buffalo Nickel. PCGS graded MS-64. Well struck on the bison, especially the horn, while the tail has some weakness on the tip. A scarce date this nice and certainly worth a look as few grade this high. From an old collection and we sent this in to PCGS just in time to get it back for inclusion in the sale. Light nickel-blue toning on the coin.

1926 Buffalo Nickel. NGC graded MS-67. One of the finest graded by NGC, with just 2 seen this high and a single coin graded higher. Superb surfaces and lovely colored toning starting to form over silvery-white surfaces on both sides. Although a common date, this coin is decidedly rare in this grade and worthy of a king's collection.

This coin has some minor scrapes on each side, one on the Indian's brow, and on the reverse there is a scrape on the upper bison's back, and a scratch on his shoulder. Missing the forward leg of the beast, and always popular with collectors who need an example for their sets.
