Lot 1833
Rare Grinnell Paper Money Storage Book. A storage book that once housed Albert A. Grinnell's personal paper money collection. His notes were sold in the 1940s by Barney Bluestone and have not been seen by the collecting public since that time. Many empty old celophane pages are intact, and one can only wonder where this famous collection resides, and imagine the fabulous notes that were housed in this very album for years and years, a treasure to be sure. A rare item that was recovered years ago after some forgotten deal was distributed and held aside as a treasured memento of the glory days of currency collecting. The binding is partially split in the front, but it would make a fine addition to an advanced collectors holdings.
Estimated Value $500-UP.
