Lot 2810
1926 $2.50 Indian. NGC graded MS-64. An especially frosty coin. Both sides of this Choice Mint State Quarter Eagle are brilliant with golden-fresh color and wisps of delicate toning in a few areas. The obverse is fully frosted with noticeable clarity on the Indian's cheek and facial contours. The reverse has frosty gold luster as well, far nicer than average for this difficult series in very choice Mint condition (PCGS # 7950) .

Lot 2815
1928 $2.50 Indian. NGC graded MS-64. A hint of golden tone. Most notable about the present example, aside from the nice luster, is its strike; unlike many examples, which are so unevenly struck as to be like a "pancake," this coin offers above-average central striking definition, both at the often-weak bonnet ribbon over the Indian's brow and on the eagle's breast feathers. The only peripheral softness is on a few feather ends due to the way the side with the eagle lines up with this part of the obverse design (PCGS # 7952) .
Estimated Value $1,100 - 1,150.
